Restore OEM Windows

I was gifted this notebook by my sister and she sent it to me with a blank hard drive.

If there a way to restore OEM Windows 10? Maybe there is a disk for this specific notebook that I can purchase from HP designed to restore the original Windows and Windows activation?

Hi:

I don't see that you can purchase recovery media for that model anymore, but you can reinstall W10 for free by making bootable USB installation media with the media creation tool from the link below.

The Windows 10 product key is in the notebook's BIOS, so you don't need to know what the product key is to install W10.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from the notebook's support page.

And how do I know which version of Windows is OEM for this computer?

Just use the Microsoft media creation tool to create the media.

The W10 Home OEM product key is in your notebook's BIOS and W10 will automatically install the version of W10 the key is good for.
