Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a few game files recorded (burned) on a backup disc (DVD RW Drive) and would like to transfer them to my HP Windows 10 PC. The files were recorded on the disc by the exact PC. By viewing the DVD RW Drive I opened the Backup folder, then opened the FBData folder and ended up with six .swm backup files (Backup.swm, Backup2.swm, etc.). Are these my recorded game files? If so then how do I separately restore them from the disc to the PC?

Hi:

I think you can open/read .swm files with the free 7-Zip file utility.

The 2nd link at the top of the page is for 64 bit.

https://www.7-zip.org/

Right click on the .swm file you want to open and select 7-Zip from the list of items on the menu.

Have 7-Zip Open Archive.

Once that opens, it should reveal the contents of the .swm files.

If the file contains something you want to keep, you can either extract each invidual file or extract the entire directory.

If you want to extract each individual file, highlight the desired file and click the extract button at the top.

If you want to extract the entire directory, make sure no items are highlighted, and click the extract button at the top.

Unfortunately, I would have no idea what the file contents are.
