I have an hp laptop. It reset itself and I could only backup my data onto a USB. Once I backed it up I allowed the reset (as there were no other options) and it was as if I had a brand new laptop where all my data was lost. I have tried to restore the backup that is on my USB to my laptop multiple times using multiple methods but when I tried with the hp file recovery, I got two error codes: FFFFFF15 and 70. Please assist me in the problem

Sorry, but we have no access to your PC from here so we have no way to assist you in recovering your data.

IF you made the backup using the HP Recovery function, that creates proprietary format files and only that  tool can then be used to restore from that backup.  IF that is not working, there is nothing we can do to force it to work.

So there is no possible way to get the files that are in the backup folder on my usb onto my laptop again?
