Hello,

How can I restore the license for windows? How can I find the activation key (there is no activation key in the computer documents). The computer won't turn on and I need to reinstall the system (HP recovery doesn't help). I don't know what to do (i'm far from service center and cannot ask help from them for 3 month). I don't want to wait.

 

Please help and gives the idea what to do.

Hi:

 

If your notebook came with W11 from HP, the Windows product key is encrypted in the BIOS of the notebook.

 

You can use the HP cloud recovery client software to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W11, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
