Hp notebook 14
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Hi, the last time I used the laptop was when I was attempting to delete unknown files to help speed the laptop up and clear storage - I hadn't used it since until today and upon logging into it, all of my files, photos taken from the camera on the laptop, videos and downloads are all removed and gone. They aren't in the recycle or trash place and I have tried to retrieve them but cannot find them. Could somebody please help me with thus? As they are important. As well as I have noticed some of the keys on the key board are not working when I press them and have no idea why? Let me know! Thank you!

You have to use a software or a professional services ($$$) to recover deleted files. Normally you can't recover 100% because some sectors could be overwritten. I know some free software but I have not tested them, you can try if you wish
