Hello,
I am working with these laptops and I am curious about one instruction. From this previous thread Elitebook 8460w missing drivers, i was given instructions to download MEI driver. When running it, i'm told that it is older than a previous version.
There have been times where rollling back the driver is needed to make the device work. In this case, after the roll back the same number of missing devices remains. When that is the case should I roll back or not?
I don't fully understand device manager so I hope my question is clear enough.
Thank you for your time,
AR713

About the only things I can suggest is to right click each device and choose Uinstall. Next click "Scan for hardware changes" icon at top- or simply restart the laptop.
If still no joy- right click each device and choose update driver to let Windows look for the driver online.
