HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cr0000 (538A1AV)

Hello,

By checking my full PC status with HP Support Assistant I keep getting notified that my diagnostics software is out-of-date.  It says to go to www.hp.com/go/techcenter/pcdiags.  I get there and...nothing.

How can I get an updated version of my diagnostics software ?

Hi @GabyBel 

 

When you get to that page there are several buttons, click on the + icon and it shows you the files for download, there are the version for windows and for UEFI,

Hello Resistencia,

I've downloaded v.10.7.0.0 as you suggested and it works but this version is not updated to my Windows PC. In fact, I've Windows 11 Pro and the new version fits up to version Windows 10.  It that correct ?

the UEFI version and the windows version are different, if you want the windows version it is the following one

Hi Resistencia,

I've downloaded v.10.7.0.0. because the old UEFI version on HP SuppAss began with 10.3.XXXX (that was/is the only option I have to make a diagnosis of my PC hardware). Infact I've diagnosed the whole hardaware properly.

 

I've also downloaded Windows v2.6.3.0 but I do not know how it works because once opened it takes me back to the main UEFI hardware diagnostics screen, where I have already done all the checks, and therefore I don't know what I need this app for Windows for. Can you explain to me?
