It looks like Microsoft no longer provides an official Start Menu Troubleshooter for Windows 10, but there are still ways to fix the issue! Here are some steps you can try:

 

Fix Windows 10 Start Menu Issues

 

Restart Windows Explorer

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Find Windows Explorer, right-click, and select Restart.

 

Re-register the Start Menu

  • Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), click FileRun new task.
  • Type powershell, check Create this task with administrative privileges, and click OK.
  • Run this command in PowerShell:
    Get-appxpackage -all *shellexperience* -packagetype bundle |% {add-appxpackage -register -disabledevelopmentmode ($_.installlocation + “\\appxmetadata\\appxbundlemanifest.xml”)}
  • Restart your PC after running the command.

 

Check for Windows Updates

  • Open SettingsUpdate & SecurityWindows Update.
  • Click Check for updates and install any pending updates.

 

Create a New User Account

  • Sometimes, a corrupted user profile can cause Start Menu issues.
  • Open SettingsAccountsFamily & other usersAdd someone else to this PC.
  • Log in with the new account and check if the Start Menu works.
