i want to say that i have recevided the BIOS update notification in hp support assistant not in window update. i want to know i should update the bios or not photo is attached with the version can you tell me i should update it ? and how can i update as it will be my first time bios update alone  i dont want to damage my pc because now it is not in warranty (warrenty expire)  and previously my motherboard has alredy been serviced by HP .Screenshot 2024-10-04 211817.png

Update the BIOS , correct compatibility or security problems.

It is a delicate process, it is not always necessary to do these steps that I am going to indicate but it is good to do it to avoid problems, then before updating, close all programs, if you have a third party antivirus disable.

Remember during the update the laptop restarts several times, in some cases it turns off, do not touch anything in a few seconds the laptop is reactivated and continues with the update, which ends once you enter windows again.
