Product: Elitebook 840 g5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After using my elitebook 840 g5, i got windows error code 43 UCM UCSI ACPI, and my thunderbolt 3 port got disabled, i cant charge my laptop or use thunderbolt devices (laptop recognize them, but i cant access to them). Reading topics of this forum, the solution could be a bios update and trying newest drivers but i cant update my laptop because ask me a "bios password" that i dont remember anymore and i cant dock my laptop and use external monitors/gpu. I have the serial number, product number, UUID and its under waranty but in my country HP support told me that i have to contact US HP support because they can give it to me

Hi:

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

That was the only way it could be done.
