I purchased a new HP Envy in June 2025. In January, the computer started failing to boot. Nothing happened, it just wouldn't turn on one day. Somehow my warranty had already expired so I purchased a new SSD and replaced it myself with the help of AI. It was simple enough although I had to purchase an SSD with less space which sucked but... I couldn't afford a repair shop or an upgraded SDD. I just needed a working computer. Unfortunately replacing the SSD wiped windows entirely. Or maybe it was already wiped before I replaced it. I don't know. But now I need to re-install windows and I am struggling to find an affordable method to do this. I don't have another computer to download the installer. No friends with computers I can borrow. Cant use my work computer for downloads or do it at the library. I bought what appeared to be an affordable installer USB online and it was a scam. Shops in my area want to charge $75+ for the install. I am beyond frustrated. My only remaining option seems to be to purchase windows from scratch.. a $120+ expense. I am terribly reluctant to do this. This computer was already insanely expensive and it malfunctioned barely 6 months after purchase and none of this was even my fault. I need help.

Please verify that your laptop ID is 8Z200AV#ABA
If you bought it with windows 11 and it is less than 5 years old then the following should have worked and you should have been able to do a factory restore.
In any event, Microsoft has a record of the license key and all*** you need to do is install the correct version of windows 11 to get it activated for free. According to this spec you should have windows 11 home
