Hi:

 

Your notebook has a M.2 slot that support PCIe Gen 3 NVMe SSD's.

 

The NVMe slot PCI express revision is Gen 3.0.

The slot is PCIe Gen 3 as it shows on the Intel processor link I posted.

 

A Gen 4 SSD will work but only at the Gen 3 speed.

 

There's no service manual available for the 15s-du3xxx model series.

 

The manual for the older model series indicates that HP offered NVMe SSDs' up to 512 GB.
