My HP Pavillion 14-ce1005na has just started to fail to boot up. I can't access any of the function key menus properly via F2, F10 etc. The Caps Lock light was flashing. After running through the troubleshooting info on the HP website I have identified the SSD hard drive is the problem and needs to be replaced.
I am happy to replace the SSD myself, however I don't have a recovery file to restore the OS. When I bought the laptop new direct from HP in 2018 I don't remember having an option to create a backup OS recovery file/image.
The only thing I do have is a copy of the WindowsImageBackup which includes the hard disk image files - basically I took a copy of all the files on the SSD hard drive close to when I bought the laptop.
One thing to add - at the time of purchase the laptop had Windows 10. Last year I upgraded to Windows 11.
Any ideas what options I have to get the new replacement SSD to have the OS on it so it can be used?

Hi:
You can use the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10, 7) | HP® Customer Support
Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
Your PC's product number is: 4UG09EA#ABU
After you install W10, you can upgrade back to W11 for free.
