HP Elitebook 830 G6

I have a HP Elitebook 830 G6 and it comes with nvme pcie M.2 SSD of 256Gb but I want to upgrade it to 2TB. I googled which SSD I should go for and it's suggesting to go for SSD with 3000MB/s speed. On Amazon I found WD Black SSD 2Tb for a decent price so I thought I should go for that but it's speed is over 5000MB/s and I don't know if it's compatible with my model. I can't find any detail highlighting if it is compatible or not. Can someone please help me with this?

Yes, you can use 1TB, 2TB or even 4TB (single sided). In theory WD Black SSD 2Tb should work even with different speed (because backward compatible) but it is much better to use same brand of the existing one to avoid firmware compatible (if any).

How would I know which brand SSD I have without opening my laptop?
