@crazybliss, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding blue screen loop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand how frustrating this situation must be, and I’ll do my best to guide you through resolving it.
It sounds like installing the Dell audio driver might have affected your system, and the changes you made to the partition (possibly converting to MBR/GPT) could be preventing Windows from recognizing your SSD properly. Let’s go step by step to troubleshoot this.
Check BIOS to See If SSD Is Recognized
- Restart your laptop and immediately press the F10 key repeatedly to enter the BIOS Setup.
- Go to the Storage or Boot options and check if your SSD is listed.
- If the SSD is not listed, it may be disconnected, faulty, or affected by a BIOS setting.
- If the SSD is listed, but Windows doesn’t recognize it, it may need partitioning or formatting.
Reset BIOS to Default Settings
- While in BIOS, press F9 to load Setup Defaults, then press F10 to save and exit.
- Restart your laptop and check if the SSD appears again.
Try Changing SATA Mode in BIOS
- In BIOS, look for SATA Mode (under Advanced or Storage Configuration).
- If it’s set to RAID, change it to AHCI, then save changes and exit.
I hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
