Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

 

I have just taken delivery of this laptop - but (as usual) there is loads of bloatware (HP and others) pre-installed. I like a lean system !

 

Is it safe to immediately run the MS Refresh Windows tool to reinstall the basic OS ?

 

Will Windows install all the correct hardware drivers for this unit during / after installation ? Or will I have to manually go to HP  etc. websites to get them ?

Hi

Install a W10 iso and then add the HP drivers as needed.

You should still try and make the 16 GB Recovery Media all the same.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

then visit the HP website for your device.

Use the SKU: for the best match.
