hp notebook 15g dr0006tx

Hi all,

I'm using a   hp notebook 15g dr0006tx which cones with genuine Windows and I'm now facing different issues with my laptop. Two weeks before, my laptop moved to automatic repair on boot and other HP Recovery Manger, system recovery worked to restore it. (I had tried all other options in the recovery screen. But nothing works). After HP recovery, everything was fine, with fresh windows install l. I lost all the data, but still system was working fine.  After that, I frequently get an alert from 'security and maintenance' that there are disk errors and I had to scan disk for errors and restart. When I restarted once, it again went into automatic repair and I had to again do HP system recovery to turn my laptop on. For a few days, it was fine then. But again the same happened and at this time, I get a blank screen after hp logo. Now, I am going to do the HP Recovery again for the third time.

Can someone please help me to fix the issue.I desperately need help with my laptop because I'm working from my home and it's extremely important. Sorry for the long post.

@Sneha_1-2 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the laptop is not booting properly.

Do not worry. I will tr

I have a few steps that should help,

Some HP Notebook PCs come with two sticks of memory and have two memory slots. If you experience a black screen or blue screen with HP logo, the problem could be with one of the sticks of memory or with one of the memory slots.

To determine what is causing the failure, try to isolate the problem by:

  • Performing a memory self-test

  • Checking for loose memory modules

  • Testing the memory modules

  • Testing the memory slots

For more details: Click here (Windows 10-Notebook)

Please perform the hard drive test and check.

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.

3) Press F2 once.

4) Go to Component test.

5) From the list, run the Hard Drive (extensive) test.
