HP Pavilion 14-ce1001tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This has been happening quite often now (every alternate day). One of the two things happen.
1. The screen freezes and I am not able to move the mouse cursor, keypad becomes unresponsive (so I can't open Task Manager to end processes) and I have no other option but to hold the power button and restart the laptop.
2. Laptop dies suddenly and a blue screen appears with the following messages (dated from latest to oldest)
- Stop code: KMODE_EXCEPTION NOT_HANDLED, What Failed: win32kbase.sys
- Stop code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

- Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

- Stop code: KMODE_EXCEPTION NOT_HANDLED

Please help me with this. I regularly update my Windows, have updated all drivers, and also done drive check and fixed issues using command prompt. My laptop is just 1.5 years old.

@Riddle_Decipher can you help?

@DexterSin, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that the computer is in an error state, I'd suggest you perform a system recovery to resolve the issue.

Refer to the document HP PCs - Performing a System Recovery (Windows 10) for help.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
