More or less daily screen goes black and get message "Your device ran into a problem and has to restart."  This is followed by a message saying I have no OS...should install OS.  This is false.  Win 11 is installed and working fine.

New message sends me to login3.id.hp.com

Hit ENTER... nothing

Press start button 3 seconds and this ends all apparent processes.

Press start button 3 seconds and system starts up as tho nothing had happened.

Screens are saved and I resume work as before this interruption.

Strange and annoying and foreboding.

Hi @MeoMeo1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?

Meanwhile, run a hardware diagnostic.

  • Restart your computer and press the F2 key repeatedly.
  • From the main menu, select Component Tests.
  • Run a quick test on your hard drive/SSD to ensure it isn't experiencing hardware instability.
  • Please refer to this link

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Best regards,
