I was having an issue while playing battlefield 6. There was a secure boot error when I looked up on event manager. I reset my secure boot keys and since I did that, I have been having error pop up thats says " Secure boot signature violation".I disabled secure boot. But without secure boot Battlefield 6 does not work. Please Help.

Hi @azhar_93,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that you're experiencing with the secure boot violation error. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Restore Secure Boot Keys

  • Enter BIOS/UEFI (usually by pressing F2, F10, or Del at startup).
  • Go to Security → Secure Boot.
  • Select Restore Factory Keys (sometimes called “Install Default Keys”).
  • Save and exit.

Ensure UEFI

  • Battlefield 6 requires UEFI boot mode, not Legacy.
  • In BIOS, confirm Boot Mode = UEFI.
  • In Windows, check disk partition style:
  • Press Win + X → Disk Management.
  • Right‑click your system drive → Properties → Volumes.
  • Ensure it says GPT.

Enable TPM 2.0

  • In BIOS, under Security, enable TPM 2.0 (sometimes listed as “Intel PTT” or “AMD fTPM”).
  • Battlefield 6’s anti‑cheat checks for TPM as part of system integrity.

Re‑Enable Secure Boot

  • Once keys are restored and TPM is active, set Secure Boot = Enabled.
  • Save and reboot.

Restore Factory Defaults:

  • Boot into BIOS again (Press F10).
  • Select  Security > Secure Boot Configuration, then check the box for Reset Secure Boot keys to factory defaults
  • Save and reboot your system.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
