Hi there,

 

I’ve got a old chromebook which is done with auto updates. I want to be able to get a new laptop sometime. Can I sell my chromebook or recycle it somehow? Is h there a way to have “trade in” to get money out of the remaining value?

To my knowledge HP does not take "trade-ins" but that does not mean someone else does not.  Check around with repair shops that also sell used computers or a pawn shop.  Pawn shops that might have a model that is usable to you would most likely be willing to give you something as a trade-in, assuming the "old Chromebook" still works.  Do not expect much as the value, however.

Next best is to try to find a willing buyer, again do not expect much in value.
