Product: Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On a 2015  Win8, HP Pavilion 15 notebook, I want to assure a clean disk wipe before donating to charity.  It was updated to Win10, current thru late fall 2020.

Does a "Reset this PC" ... "Remove files and clean the drive" physically wipe the C drive before reinstalling Windows?

 

If not, what is the appropriate sequence for wipe and reset?

Should I run the PC from the 😄 recovery drive and run a downloaded DiskWipe?

 

Guidance will be appreciated!

NONE of the resets do disk wipes.
