Setting bios to default crashed the hard drive? If so how to fix?

Hello, I have a hp Pavilion 17 198ca Laptop. When I set the bios to default, it boot to windows 10 normally. Then in windows I tried (but not succeed in using a windows defender offline).

Then suddenly I was stuck in a preparing for automatic repair loop.

HP diagnostic shows that the primary hard drive have error during the optimized dst test and also quick test.

Did resetting bios caused a hard drive failure? If so how can I fix it?
