@Tlee1234, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your new laptop!
I understand you're setting up your new laptop and are stuck on the "Choose Privacy Settings for Your Device" screen in Windows 11. I'd be happy to guide you through the next steps.
Review and Select Privacy Settings:
- On this screen, you will see several options related to privacy settings (such as location, diagnostics, and ad personalization).
- You can choose to enable or disable these options based on your preference.
Scroll Down and Click "Accept":
- If the "Accept" button is not visible, try scrolling down using the touchpad or arrow keys.
If the Screen is Unresponsive:
- Restart the Laptop: Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds to force a restart. Once it powers back on, follow the setup process again.
- Try an External Mouse: If the touchpad isn’t responding, connect a USB mouse to navigate.
Check for Windows Setup Issues:
- If the issue persists, reset the setup process by selecting "Restart" at the bottom-left corner (if available).
- You can also try performing a hard reset by pressing and holding the power button until the device turns off, then powering it back on.
Let me know if these steps help or if you need further assistance. We're here to help!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
