I've an HP laptop which came pre-installed with Intel Optane Memory 16GB module with an HDD for system acceleration. It is currently enabled and everything is working fine. However, I've been wanting to reset my PC to get a fresh start due to some driver problems I'm facing.
So my question is do I need to disable system acceleration with Optane memory before resetting my laptop or it is fine with it enabled. I will be resetting my laptop using the Reset this PC functionality provided within Windows and I will be removing everything except for the data on other drives like D or E. My Windows is installed on the C drive as usual.

Hi:
You should be fine leaving everything as is.
You would only disable the Intel Optane in the Rapid Storage Technology software and in the BIOS if you were removing the Intel Optane memory device and replacing it or replacing it with a NVMe SSD.
