Hi @AJAYCH,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with signing into your Laptop.

"This sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns. Use a different sign-in option, or keep your device powered on for at least 2 hours and then try again".

To reset a Windows account password:

  1. On the login screen, type any password and hit Enter. Windows will show the password as incorrect; click OK.
  2. Next, click the Reset password option.
  3. Now, you must answer the three security questions and press Enter. If the password is correct, a password reset option will appear.
  4. Enter your new password and then re-enter the password to confirm the same.
  5. Press Enter to sign-in to your user account.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
