I have the same issue.
Reverting to a previous restore point will not work. If we were to ask a human to reinstall something again, the end result would be different because we are dynamically changing... constantly. Because a piece of program or software does not dynamically change, it is constant, its behavior will not change.

The problem lies within a setting within the Simplepass Software. There "should" be an option in the config portion of SimplePass to disable pinning to taskbar and startmenu.
