Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought envy 13 ( i7, 16GB ram, 512GB SSD)two weeks ago, and I noted the laptop waked up slowly ( around 10s) from sleep mode. The keyboard light turned on quickly but the monitor took 5-8 second to turn on. My 5 years old laptop can wake up in 1-2 second..... 

 

Could you please give me some suggestions to fix this problem? I don’t wanna pay 1000£ to get the laptop which is slower than my old kits.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is waking up slowing from sleep.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

While you respond to that, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

The computer is brand new so it was slow to wake up from sleep mode since I received it. 

 

I did not change that setting but updated the drivers of graphs and bios. But none of them works. 

 

My friend got same model and has this problem as well....
