Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg1000 IDS Base Model

This HP notebook was purchased about 18 months ago and I have never been able to retrieve the MS basic software that was supposed to come with it. How can I get my software to complete tasks? Where can the PIN be obtained, and what do I do with it?

What is your PC 15-eg1000 IDS Base Model ? Normally it came with a TRIAL version of MS Office. You can use Officce for 30 days or 60 days. After that, you have to buy a key from Microsoft to get it going.

 

For example :      https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c08081412   which shows 1 month trial for new Microsoft 365 customers.
