Hi @Boasiako

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how unsettling it can be to hear repeated beeps when starting up your Pavilion notebook. Thank you for checking and sharing the exact pattern—it helps narrow down the cause. Let’s walk through some clear steps together to bring your system back to life:

Power reset

  • Disconnect the AC adapter and remove any external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
  • If the battery is removable, take it out.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge residual electricity.
  • Reconnect the adapter (leave the battery out for now) and try powering on again.

Check memory modules (RAM)

  • Beeping often points to memory not seated properly.
  • If you’re comfortable, remove the bottom cover, carefully reseat the RAM sticks, and ensure they click firmly into place.
  • If you have two modules, try starting the notebook with one at a time to isolate a faulty stick.

Run hardware diagnostics

  • Turn the notebook on and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly until the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics screen appears.
  • Choose “System Tests” and run the “Memory Test” and “Component Test.”
  • This will give a clear report if the issue is with memory or another component.

BIOS reset

  • Restart the notebook and press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.
  • Use the arrow keys to load default settings, save, and exit.
  • This refreshes system configuration and can clear startup errors.

Update BIOS and drivers

  • Once the notebook starts, visit HP Software and Driver Downloads, enter your Pavilion model, and install the latest BIOS and chipset drivers.

These steps should help stabilize the system. If the notebook still gives the same beep sequence after reseating memory and running diagnostics, the test results will guide the next action.

Would you like me to also outline how to safely reseat the RAM step by step, so you have a clear picture before opening the notebook?
