HP Spectre x360 Convertible N5S03UA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so my laptop is crashing when charger is plugged into it. I did some analysis and found out if battery is 100% charged it doesn't crash but if the remaining battery percentage is low then it crashes and shows hard disk not found at the boot.

If I boot up again removing the charger everything works fine.

I was able to find exactly same thread but there it is not mentioned how it got solved.

I took laptop to nearest hp service center but they couldn't understand the issue.

Right now I am using it as desktop, keeping the charger plugged in so it doesn't crash.

The thread with same issue

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

  • Please perform a hard reset from the link: http://hp.care/2nwQ054 and continue with further troubleshooting.
  • Please connect the charger to a different wall outlet and check again if the computer works correctly.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Have a great day!
