Spectre x360 find my device not working even with location services on

I have location services on in my settings on my Spectre x360 (Windows 11) however when I go to the Microsoft web site under devices it shows that the location services are disabled whereby it cannot locate my laptop.

I noticed this same issue was posted a while back by someone else with no resolution.

Have you turned on Find my device on Windows 11

Start  > Settings  > Privacy & security  > Find my device
