The primary partition in my x360 notebook is too small for Windows and the updates.
I have tried pointing all of the user files to the C drive, but it is the core install and updates that fill up the primary drive too fast and I get out of space errors after installing updates on a factory reset.
When I look at the specifications it tells me that I have 512GB but it seems like it is split over two disks (I don't know how that is possible)
How do I either expand the C: drive to include all of the space on both disks or install the OS on the Disk1?
Are there really 2 physical disks or is it a virtual disk?
I feel like I did something wrong when I first set it up that is causing this problem or otherwise the forums would be overrun with people struggling with it as I am.
Thank you in advance!

First off, you have two physical disks -- and you can't have the C: partition span the disks. It is limited to the space on the first disk.
Second, you can't move the OS to the big disk, even though you want to.
Third, you have done nothing to cause this, and nothing wrong. This is how the PC came preconfigured.
Here are some things you can do to recover some of the disk space:

Finally, there is a freeware app known as Wise Disk Cleaner. I use it every day to get rid of junk files: https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-disk-cleaner.html
