I've just bought a late 2018 Spectre x360. The seller upgraded to Windows 11 just before selling.
I've realised that the tablet mode isn't working- when I fold the display the on-screen keyboard, doesn't appear and the main keyboard isn't completely disabled. The auto rotate facility doesn't work in any mode. The seller assures me that it was all working correctly before the upgrade, which I believe, so I have to assume that the Windows 11 is causing the problem.
Unfortunately I don't seem to have the option of reverting to Windows 10. I've been offered an unused Win 10 Pro product key, but I've read that there might me problems installing it.
I'm not sure where to start now. Should I try to fix the problem in Win 11 or scrap it and buy a new copy of Win 10?
One less important problem - I can't turn on the keyboard backlighting (Windows key + f5). Could this be a related problem or is it possible that backlighting wasn't fitted on this model?
