HP 250 G7 Notebook PC

Today I had some Windows updates install.  I also had a BIOS update install itself via the HP Support Assistant.  I don't know whether it was the Windows updates or the BIOS but now my Start menu and search do not work. 

I have linked a couple of files from my Google drive that shows the issues with the "suspended processes" and the Windows updates installed today.

I have looked a uninstalling those updates but it seems I cannot.  I have tried sereral "fixes" that others have tried, via Google searches and Microsoft forums, none have fixed it.  I'm getting close to a OS reset!

Any ideas before I do that?
