Many Thanks.

@4CLA

You've got multiple hardware failures -- and since some of these models come with BOTH an SSD and an HDD, since you have multiple drive failures indicated, my guess is that BOTH have failed on you.  And the other failures would require replacing the motherboard and the keyboard.

So, did this fall off the back of a truck, or something?  Because it would have taken something SERIOUS to cause all this damage.

I don't know what "geeks" you are asking about, because we here have no way to access your PC to transfer anything.  And the same is true of HP Tech Support, as they have the ability to remote into your PC (if it is running) but they have no way to transfer any reasonable amount of data, like the OS or an image of it.

Thanks for getting back to me WAWood.

Nothing bad has happened to the laptop and no trucks involved. I purchased it new from Best Buy approx three or four years ago and have had normal use daily since that time.
The geeks I refer to are the Best Buy Geek Squad 😁

The message on start up is “To ensure not data loss, please backup the content immediately and run the Hard Disk Test in Systems Diagnostics”.
This leads me to believe that the data could be saved by the geek squad? But, you guys are the experts, so is it worth taking it in to Best Buy? Thanks.
