This means your drive has failed and needs to be replaced. And in addition, since the new drive will be blank, you will have to install Windows to it and setup your account, settings, and applications -- all over again.
With notebooks, especially modern one, it can be very difficult to pry them apart to get at the internal drive without breaking them.
So, if you are not experienced at this, the safest approach would be to take the laptop to a local repair facility and have then do the drive replacement and Windows reinstall.

I appreciate the response, as much as I was hoping for a different one! I managed to get my laptop apart without damage and tried to reseat the drive in hopes that it was just knocked loose but no luck. I am now about to attempt a hard drive transfer from another HP laptop so my new question would be...Is my Windows 10 key going to remain in my memory or is that going to be lost in the transplant?

Such an action is a clear violation of OEM licensing limitations -- in that the copy of Windows on any OEM PC is owned by HP, not by the customer. If you swap that drive into another PC, Windows will probably deactivate and you will NOT be able to reactivate it because HP will not provide you the key needed.

The Windows 10 License key becomes associated with the hardware of the computer, once the license has been activated. You can put in a new hard drive and reinstall Windows 10 and it will be licensed. Replacing the hard drive is rather common.
