I haven't used in months. Started to set up and gave up due to not remembering all pins and password's and username. Attempting again. Beginning with PIN. says forgot pin..i click on that and it just puts me back to forgot pin. Where do I go from here?

That's the thing about initial setup -- either it automatically restarts where you left off, or you are stuck.  Sound like the second is your situation.

 

You would have to see about using external media to do a factory reset of your laptop and you would need another PC and a 32GB USB stick to create the restore media needed.

If your PC is a 2016 model or newer, you should see if you can make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool on a working PC.

The recovery drive can then be used to install Win10 and the HP drivers and utilities that originally came with your PC.
