I bought this notebook at a yard sale, but they did not have the startup password, It dose not give me a error code , it just ask for password, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.

It is asking for Windows login password. Restart and start tapping F11 key to run a System Recovery back to Factory setup:

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.
Enter a random/wrong password 3 times, hit ENTER and it will provide you with a System Disabled code.
Post back the system disabled code.

Is your PC model >> HP G62-227CL ?
Please, press and hold the power-on button for 5-10 seconds until the PC shuts down (powers off) completely.
Start back the PC and attempt to enter the password 3 times wrong, hit [ENTER] after every password attempt, e.g. enter wrong password once, hit [ENTER], enter password again, hit [ENTER] again, last time enter password, hit [ENTER] and system disabled code should appear.
