@SakshiSingh123, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

If your HP Notebook is continuously booting into Startup Recovery, it usually indicates a problem with Windows startup files or a recent update/driver issue. Let’s walk through some steps to resolve this:

Perform a Hard Reset

This clears temporary memory and can resolve minor startup issues.

  • Power off the notebook completely.
  • Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
  • Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect only the power adapter and try turning it on.

Use HP Automatic Repair

If Startup Recovery appears, choose Advanced Options > Troubleshoot > Startup Repair.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • If it completes successfully, restart the notebook.

Boot into Safe Mode

If Startup Repair fails:

  • On the Startup Recovery screen, go to Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • Press F4 to boot into Safe Mode.
  • Once in Safe Mode, uninstall any recent updates or drivers that may have caused the issue.

System Restore

If Safe Mode works, you can restore your system to a previous working state:

  • Go to Advanced Options > System Restore.
  • Choose a restore point before the issue started.

HP Hardware Diagnostics (Optional)

To rule out hardware issues:

  • Turn off the notebook.
  • Press Esc repeatedly at startup, then press F2 for diagnostics.
  • Run System Tests > Fast Test or Extensive Test.

Reset Windows (Last Resort)

If nothing works, you can reset Windows while keeping your files:

  • Go to Advanced Options > Reset this PC.
  • Choose Keep my files.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
