Hi @bassano1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Do you see the HP logo or Windows logo first?
  • Have you recently installed updates or new software?
  • Did the laptop shut down unexpectedly before this started?

Here are a few initial troubleshooting steps you can try:

Basic Checks

  • Hard Reset: Hold down the power button until the laptop fully shuts off, then disconnect the power adapter. Wait about 30 seconds, reconnect power, and try turning it on again.
  • Check External Devices: Disconnect any USB drives, printers, or accessories sometimes these can interfere with startup.

Boot Options

  • Access Advanced Startup: As soon as the laptop powers on, repeatedly press the F11 key to try entering HP’s recovery environment.
  • Safe Mode Attempt: If you reach the recovery options, try booting into Safe Mode to see if Windows loads.

Repair Tools

  • System Restore: If available, use System Restore to roll back to a point before the issue began.
  • Startup Repair: From the recovery menu, run Startup Repair to let Windows attempt to fix boot issues automatically

I hope this helps.
