15-bs191od
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings,

I'm installing Win10/64 on an HP 15-bs191od laptop.

Tried all available drivers on HP software/driver support page, but Windows Device Manager says I'm still missing the following five drivers:

1) Base System Device (Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1911&SUBSYS_832A103C&REV_00\3&11583659&0&40 requires further installation.)

2) PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller (Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1903&SUBSYS_832A103C&REV_08\3&11583659&0&20 requires further installation.)

3) PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller (Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D31&SUBSYS_832A103C&REV_21\3&11583659&0&A2 requires further installation.)

4) PCI Memory Controller (Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D21&SUBSYS_832A103C&REV_21\3&11583659&0&FA requires further installation.)

5) Unknown device (Device ACPI\INT3400\2&daba3ff&0 requires further installation.)

Can anyone post links to the correct drivers?  Thanks!

You're very welcome.

Yes, that thermal driver is often difficult to get to install.

See if this works...go to the device manager. click on the ACPI\INT3400 device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for drivers option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp101074.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

Here is a partial copy and paste of one of the driver setup information files in that folder which shows driver support for that hardware ID.

Hi:

These two drivers should install all of those devices...

This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility. This utility enables the operating system to show the correct name for the installed Intel hardware in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101171.exe

This package contains the driver that enables the Intel Dynamic Tuning firmware. Intel Dynamic Tuning provides system temperature and power utilization information for the system thermal protection to function properly. This package is provided for supported computer models that are running a supported operating system.

Hi Paul and thanks for the super quick reply.

First driver you linked (sp101171) got rid of all missing drivers, except for the last one (Unknown device). Big progress, as I couldn't get those to go away on my own... much obliged.

Second driver you linked (sp101074) didn't get rid of that last missing device.  For some reason, when I run sp101074, I get this message instead:

"Warning. The driver is not supported on this OS version (10.0.19042)."

Any ideas? (and thanks again).
