Hi,
I have a hp laptop I used kill disk to erase everything on my laptop and clean install windows, My previous NVMe was upgraded to Samsung 980 2TB NVMe. Using the Windows Media Creation Tool, I created an image file for Windows 10 and 11. During the installation process, I encountered an error message "Storage Driver Not Found." Investigating further, I discovered that the Intel's 11th generation laptop's drivers are not preloaded. Consequently, I installed the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver" from HP's website by entering my serial number, and I also installed the drivers on a different USB stick. I then attempted to install Windows again, but for some reason, the drivers I had installed were incompatible. I also installed drivers from Intel's website, but they were incompatible. This occurred on Windows 10 and Windows 11. I don't know what to do,
Summary
- Laptop My notebook HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-c0000 (2W0J5AV)
- Upgraded Nvme Trying to clean install windows
- Error " Storage Driver Not Found"
- Installed drivers from HP's website and intel's website they are not compatible.
- Happened on both windows 10&11
- linux works just fine.

Hi:
I zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers below so Windows can find the drive.
Copy all of the files in both folders in the attached file to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the W11 installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Click Next and if those are the right drivers Windows should find the drive and install.
