A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

It sounds like Sticky Keys, Toggle Keys or Filter Keys are enabled on your computer. Let's disable Sticky Keys, Toggle Keys and Filter Keys and check if the computer beeps while pressing the Ctrl key. The following steps should help you disable Sticky Keys, Toggle Keys and Filter Keys:

1.)  In Windows, search for and open Ease of Access Keyboard settings.

2.) Disable Sticky Keys, Toggle Keys and Filter Keys.

Let me know how it goes!

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
