Product: HP Stream 14 laptop

Hi there, I have a HP Stream 14 I am trying to fix in order to pass it on. Every time I open the dash it prompts me with a Windows update, which it cannot download because there is not enough storage space on the PC. However the internal hard drive is only 32gbs (which is mainly full of essential programs??) and it won't accept SD storage space for the update.
