I got my HP Stream laptop in 2022 and always used it in S Mode. Without my knowledge, it was taken off of S Mode when being used by someone else (they had my consent to use the laptop but NOT remove S Mode). They did this so they were able to download a program and now when using my laptop is runs very slow and it’s so annoying. I’m wondering, there’s surely away to get it back into S Mode so I can use it properly again. There has to be. It’s basically useless without it.
can I do a factory reset to fix the slowness of my laptop? It’s not filled with rubbish yet the storage is almost completely full with nothing else I can possibly make space with. I have no idea what’s going on. Can someone please help me 😩

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Unfortunately, there is no way to "go back".
If your product ships with Windows in S Mode:
Windows in S Mode works exclusively with apps from the Microsoft Store within Windows.
Certain default settings, features, and apps cannot be changed.
Some accessories and apps that are compatible with Windows may not work (including some antivirus, PDF writers, driver utilities, and accessibility apps), and performance may vary, even if you switch out of S Mode.
If you switch to Windows, you cannot switch back to S Mode.
