I was trying to install windows 10 from a usb drive. Windows 10 couldn't install because the Diagnostic policy server is not running.Error code: 0x8007025D-0x2000C
Then Windows Boot Manager came up File: \Boot\BCD Status: 0xc000000f There is no restore point. This computer hasn't been used in 4 yrs as it was my girlfriends. No updates at all.
Can anybody help me out??? or is it worth fixing???
Thank You

Did you boot from the USB or simply insert it and try to run it?
To boot from it insert the USB and then shut down the laptop. After a short wait press the power button and start tapping the Esc key. This should bring up a menu where a choice is F9 for Boot device. Tap F9 to open the next selection. You should see the USB as a choice. Use the arrow keys to move to and select/highlight USB then press Enter.
