Microsoft Windows 11

I'm stuck in a update loop... Windows keeps highlighting Intel display driver update 26.20.100.7926 as needing installing which is getting done automatically - once I have this installed I get display issues - screen goes to black and flickering horizontal and vertical lines with inbetween short times I can see and use the laptop display.  During these I see the Intel driver update tool showing a more recent update is available (30.0.101.2115) which when installed sorts the problem, but then after a couple of days the first driver update (26.20.100.7926) gets picked up during any windows 11 update scan and I'm back with display issues... any solutions very welcome!

Hi:

After you get the 30.0.101.2115 driver installed, run the Microsoft Hide Windows Update utility that I zipped up and attached below.

The utility will search for uninstalled updates from Windows Update.

It should find the offending Intel 26.20.100.7926 graphics driver update.

Check the box to hide the update.

The tool will run and report the problem is 'Fixed.'

Close out of the utility, restart the PC and the problem should not return.
