Hi @Valiant437

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thank you for sharing the details and the image. I can see that the screen is showing the Windows Recovery Environment with options.

Since the system is stuck in Safe Mode and you are trying to erase data, here’s what we can do step by step:

Steps to Exit Safe Mode and Perform Data Erase

Restart from Recovery Environment

  • On the screen you shared, select Troubleshoot.
  • Then choose Advanced optionsStartup SettingsRestart.
  • After restart, press the number key for Enable normal startup (usually option 1).

Perform a Full Reset (Erase Data)

  • Go back to TroubleshootReset this PC.
  • Choose Remove everything.
  • If prompted, select Fully clean the drive for complete erasure.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions until the process completes.

If Reset Fails

  • Use Cloud Download option under Reset this PC (if available).
  • Alternatively, create a Windows installation media using another PC and boot from it to perform a clean installation.

Thank you for the aid. I've tried those options before ever coming here since I got nothing else to do. Each of these options doesn't change anything. When I reset it boots back to WINRE, when I try to reset pc either remove everything or keep files, it always says there was a problem resetting the PC. Even startup settings doesn't do anything 😓
