My mother's laptop is stuck in a loop. It was working perfectly fine about 12 hours ago but when she went to get on it later in the day it restarted and then kept asking her to choose a keyboard layout and then once she did that it will pull up the "Choose an Option" screen where it just gives the options to troubleshoot or turn off the pc. None of the troubleshooting options are working and it won't let us reset it to factory settings. If we restart it the whole process just repeats. It won't even let us get into the computer. Even the startup repair isn't working. Any idea what might be wrong?
p.s. If we leave it on any of the screens too long a message pops up that says "There was a problem. Restart your pc to..." The issue number was 800 something but it restarts without anyone even clicking the ok option.

Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This will open a menu where F2 System Diagnostics is an option. Tap F2 key and run the tests.
